VAMI operates the www.va-mi.nl website (here in after “website”), which provides the SERVICE. This page is used to inform website visitors regarding the policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use the Service (the VAMI website). VAMI processes personal data as far as this is necessary for one of our legitimate interests. This includes improving the services and the website in order to offer the best customer experience.

If the Customer does not provide the personal data, required for the execution of the agreement between Customerand VAMI, VAMI has the right to suspend all services until the required personal data is provided.

We use analytical services from third parties. These help us to measure our traffic and trends on the website. The tools collect information sent by the Customer from his mobile phone or other devices, our website and other information that help us improve our website.
1.2 How does VAMI use this information?
The collected information is used to support and improve the website and services by:
mapping the statistics, such as the total number of visitors and traffic via the website;
solving or diagnosing technical problems;
1.3.1 How is this information shared?
VAMI will not sell or pass on the Customer’s (personal) data to third parties, unless this information must be provided in order to execute an order or when needed for the website analytics as described in article 1.2. VAMI refrains from any other form of providing (personal) data to third parties. In the case of a collaboration where (personal) data is provided, this will be announced in advance.
VAMI uses only technical and functional cookies, and analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. Cookies are simple small text files that are stored on the hard disk or in the memory of the Customer’s computer. The cookies that VAMI uses are necessary for the technical operation of the website and the ease of use of the Customer. They ensure that the website works properly and remember, for example, your preferences. VAMI can also optimize the website with this. The Customer can opt out of cookies by setting up the Internet browser in such a way that it no longer saves cookies. In addition, the Customer can also delete all information previously stored via the settings of the browser.

Based on a legal request, VAMI may be forced to give the competent authority access to the Customer’s information and to store and/or share this information in response to a legal request (such as a search warrant, court order or subpoena). VAMI is also entitled to keep the Customer’s information and/or to share it when VAMI believes this is necessary for the detection, prevention and investigation of fraud or other illegal activities and to protect the Customer, others and VAMI. Information that is received about the Customer can be opened, edited and stored for a longer period when this is necessary due to a legal request or obligation, an investigation regarding our terms and conditions, policies or otherwise to prevent damage.
2. Security and safety
VAMI has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the Customer’s data against loss or against any form of unlawful processing. We use security measures to ensure that information acquired through the website is protected. However, VAMI cannot guarantee that the information on the website is not opened, disclosed, changed or destroyed. The Customer is always responsible for managing the emails between the Customer and VAMI. VAMI is not responsible for the functionality, privacy or security measures of any other organization. The communication between the Customer’s web browser and the VAMI website is via an encrypted connection. Communication via mobile phone (SMS/Whatsapp/Phone calls) is not encrypted.
4. Storage period
VAMI does not retain personal data longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data has been collected.
5.1.1 Customer Rights
Customer has the right to correct, delete or see his/her personal data. In addition, the Customer has the right towithdraw the data or object to the processing of personal data by VAMI and the Customer has the right to data transferability. That means Customer may submit a request for the personal information to VAMI to receive his/herpersonal data which VAMI possesses.
5.1.2 Formal requirements request
Customer may request for insight, correction, deletion, data transferability of personal data or a request forwithdrawal of permission of the personal data to firstname.lastname@example.org. To ensure that Customer makes the access request, VAMI requires a copy of the identity document Customer to send the request. Make this copy of the passport, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers underneath the passport) the passport number and Social Security Number (SSN) black. VAMI responds as soon as possible but within four weeks on the request.
5.1.3 Complaint Authority Personal
VAMI also wants to point out to Customer that it is possible to file a complaint with the national regulator, the Authority for Personal Data.

VAMI’s website does not specifically refer to data from Customers under 16 ("Children"). If it is learnt that personal information is collected without Children’s parents or guardians, VAMI will take measures to delete this data. If a parent or guardian has suspicions that their child has provided VAMI data without their consent, the parent or guardian can contact through email@example.com.
